A Simple & Straight-Forward Process
Step 01
Discovery Consultation
Rob or Lorenzo comes to your property and walks the site with you. We ask the questions most contractors skip: How do you use the yard now? How do you want to use it? Who else uses it? Kids, pets, guests, dogs, in-laws? How much time do you want to spend maintaining it? What does the morning sun look like? Where do the prevailing winds come from? Is there a drainage problem we need to solve? What does your home’s architecture want from the landscape?
Step 02
Concept Development
We sketch initial concepts based on the discovery walk. For larger projects we develop multiple concept directions so you can see how different design styles would feel in your space.
Step 03
Design Package
Depending on project scope, this includes site plans, elevation views, plant lists, hardscape material, and specifications.
Step 04
Written Estimate
Detailed scope of work and itemized pricing, broken out by phase so you can see exactly where the budget goes, and adjust priorities if needed.
Step 05
Build
We manage every piece of the installation. Hardscape, retaining walls, drainage, irrigation, lighting, planting, turf, water features, and stone work. You deal with us, not with five separate companies. Every installer on your job has at least 10 years of installation experience.
Step 06
Walkthrough & Care Instructions
When the project’s complete, we walk it with you, explain care requirements for new plantings and turf, and leave you with written maintenance guidelines.
Step 07
Follow-Up
It’s normal for us to check back in at 30, 60, and 90 days after a full landscape build, especially for plant establishment and irrigation fine-tuning. Rob has gotten phone calls from clients six years after installation, and we always pick up.
